1100m² Applied to geotextile and corrugated steel multi-plate tunnel

The Situation: A conveyor tunnel was being constructed for the Stratford Coal Handling Preparation Plant at Gloucester in northern New South Wales, and it required waterproofing to protect it from both leakage and rust.

The Solution: A tack coat of a cold spray-applied membrane was applied over joints, covered by a geotextile "bandage", then all sealed with a 2mm coat of the cold spray-applied membrane. The result was a smooth, even, waterproof cold spray-applied membrane surface over the entire tunnel, ready for backfilling.
