Basement Waterproofing – Carpark behind Seawall

Point Piper, Sydney

3425m2 Waterproofing Membrane applied to basement carpark excavated from behind sandstone seawall abutting Sydney Harbour

basement behind seawall waterproofed with cold spray-applied membrane

The Situation: An existing waterfront property was being redeveloped by digging a basement and extending the building area. The inside edge of the exposed seawall needed to be waterproofed, together with the basement slab and other walls, in order to prevent flooding in these areas, as the excavated area was below sea-level.

The Solution: A seamless cold spray-applied membrane was spray-applied to underslab areas and walls, sealing around all intrusions.
